WWII battles

WWII was quite a large war but some parts of it the US have nothing to do with. So i focused on battles only the US were involved in. The first one being The Attack on Pearl Harbor and while this wasn’t exactly much of a battle it was still probably the most important event in the war for the US. Without we never enter the war or at least we don’t enter it with as much hate and wanting revenge. This is the ultimate way for the US to enter the war because now we are mad and ready to win the war.

The next battle is The Battle of Midway it shows the first time the US are able to break the codes of Japan and use them to there advantage. They pickup on a plan to attack the US and prepare for it. When it comes to the battle the US catch Japan by surprise an do a lot of damage to the Japanese.

The next battle is The Invasion of Normandy or more commonly referred to as DDay. Almost everyone has heard of the battle of DDay it is simply one of the most famous battles of all time but that was just part of the battle. It started with DDay as they charged the beaches of Normandy and after a long struggle and a lot of men dying they make it through the defenses and march towards Normandy. This led the Germans eventually retreating and giving up a lot of land they worked so hard for.

The last one isn’t really a battle but rather maybe the most important part of the war and it is The Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Everyone knows what happened here because the US set of two atom bombs over two cities in Japan. This even literally changed the world forever nothing will be same as it was before the bombs. It also marked what was practically the end of the war. It also is important to note the fact that if America didn’t make the bomb first since Germany was a close second the world would be very different because Germany probably wouldn’t have had very much compassion with the bombs and the world would look very very different.
